2012 Applications
Applications for the 2012 Narberth Boys Summer Basketball League will be available January 2nd. You can pick one up at your school's athletic office, basketball coach/office, or IN PERSON at the Narberth Borough Hall, 100 Conway Ave., Narberth, PA 19072; please do not call the Borough Office. You can also send an email to kazball@msn.com and an application will be forwarded immediately. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. In previous years, the league has filled by March 1.

2011 Mr. D Golf Outing Thank You
On behalf of the Narberth Basketball League and the Mister D Scholarship Fund, thank you for your support of the 7th annual Mister D Golf Outing in honor of the late Bill Draper.

As a result of your support and others, this year we were able to award scholarships to seven outstanding young men associated with the Narberth Basketball League who display the Mister D “Attitude” of great sportsmanship and civility. This summer’s recipients included the following high school students and listed is where they are currently attending college:

Joe Brown - LaSalle High School / Arcadia University
Mike Buchwald - Lower Merion / Cornell University
Luke Chambers - Lower Merion / Johns Hopkins
Jay Donovan - Arch. Carroll / Delaware Valley College
Sean Gordon - Malvern Prep / Gettysburg University
Jimmy Hammer - Germantown Academy / Johns Hopkins
Tim Pidgeon - LaSalle High School / E. Stroudsburg University

Past donations have been used to place a park bench with a plaque in Mister D’s honor on the Narberth basketball courts, a scoreboard sign celebrating Mister D and a permanent summer league team.

We could not do this without your support! Thank you again for your generous contribution that helped to make the 2011 Mister D Golf Outing a huge success.
